Privacy Policy

Annoti helps you import HTML, select visual elements, describe edits, and preview targeted patches. This policy explains what information Annoti handles and how it is used.

Summary

Annoti is designed to keep your HTML artifacts local to your device. We do not sell personal information, use third-party advertising trackers, or operate a cloud sync service for your imported HTML in the current beta.

Information the app handles

Annoti may handle HTML that you paste, open, create, or share into the app. That HTML can include text, images, links, or other content already present in the artifact you choose to import.

Annoti may also handle your edit instructions, selected element text, generated patch previews, undo or redo history, and app state needed to render and edit the artifact.

How information is stored

Imported HTML and editing state are stored on your device for the app experience. When you import HTML through the iOS share sheet, Annoti temporarily saves the shared HTML in its app group container so the main app can consume it, then removes the pending shared import after it is read.

Patch generation

Annoti currently uses local patching logic and, on supported systems, Apple Foundation Models when available. We do not run our own server for patch generation in the current beta. If a future version adds server-based AI or sync features, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.

Beta access requests

If you email us to request beta access, we will receive the email address and message you send. We use that information to reply, manage beta invitations, and understand early tester interest.

Analytics and tracking

The current beta does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. Apple may process TestFlight, App Store, device, crash, or diagnostics information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policies.

Sharing information

We do not sell your information. We do not share your imported HTML with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of Annoti.

Your choices

You control what HTML you import into Annoti. You can delete imported content from the app by removing the artifact or uninstalling the app. You can stop beta communications by replying to the email thread and asking to be removed.

Children's privacy

Annoti is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Annoti changes. If the app adds new data collection, server processing, analytics, account, or sync features, we will update this page and the App Store privacy information.
